Moayed Abu Ammouna is a Palestinian refugee who was
born, lives, and works in Gaza City, Palestine.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Media (Radio and Television) from Al-Aqsa University,Palestine.

Moayed works as a visual artist, filmmaker, and visual storyteller, navigating between experimental visual production, video art, and photography.

 

Through his work, he explores concepts related to land and
borders, the historical traumas experienced by post-Nakba
generations, as well as themes of collective memory,
human rights, uprooting, and displacement. He employs
creative visual practices as a vessel for both personal and

collective narratives.


Moayed seeks to channel his personal experiences to raise
questions about the issues he encounters, leading to
broader reflections on dignity and justice. He believes that
art is not merely a profession, but a necessity for existence.
