After spending his usual day in Gaza City, he returns to his room to write his diary and imagines himself in other times and different rules than those he lives by, trying to unravel the mystery of his multi-conflict city.
When he goes to sleep, he retreats into his depths, reflecting between what he sees and what he feels, and his soul visits him to face the truth: "That the only value of a human is holding on to hope."
